Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced District Sales Manager to join our well-known independent seed company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing sales within a district covering over 4 counties, focusing on selling seed products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in seed sales, excellent communication skills, and a customer service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities:

Manage sales activities within the designated district, including prospecting, customer visits, and closing sales deals.
Grow and expand the client base within the territory.
Provide agronomic expertise and support to customers.
Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement sales strategies.
Attend industry events and conferences to promote seed products and expand network.
Provide regular reports on sales activities and territory performance.

Salary and Benefits:

In addition to a competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $125,000, this position offers commission opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience selling seed products.
Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification.
Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building and maintaining relationships.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
