About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Passaic, New Jersey, 07055!

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations, addressing psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care within the surgical environment
• Communicates with the physician continuously and as needed regarding patient condition throughout procedures
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the Cardiovascular Laboratory
• Monitors and records patient condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular Lab
• Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met; assists with maintenance of equipment and inventory
• Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license; required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained throughout assignment; required
• Current ACLS certification upon hire and maintained throughout assignment; required
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac work, or in a Critical Care setting; required

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology (EP) setting
• Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and cardiovascular diagnostic procedures

• Opportunity to work in a specialized cardiovascular environment with exposure to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population
• Engage in meaningful quality improvement initiatives as part of a collaborative clinical team
