Position Overview

We are in search of a knowledgeable and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist who is ready to contribute to a team of exceptional imaging professionals. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Uphold patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, communicating effectively and compassionately
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring all malfunctions are reported promptly
• Document procedures accurately and maintain thorough patient records using electronic medical systems
• Stay informed on the latest advances in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong proficiency in technical sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
