Three Special Education teaching roles are now available across elementary, high school, and middle school settings for the 2026-2027 academic year, all within a vibrant coastal community.

As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll work onsite supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development. Roles are open for:

• Intensive Support (elementary level)
• Supplemental/Resource (high school and middle school)
  Experienced educators and recent graduates who are committed to inclusive learning are both encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Passion for creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience modifying curriculum to accommodate varying learning needs
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with a dedicated team
• Adapt lessons based on individual student goals and abilities
• Track and communicate student progress with caregivers and school personnel
• Use data-driven strategies to promote student growth
• Foster a supportive and safe learning environment
• Participate in school meetings and ongoing professional development

This is a contract role, working 37.5 hours per week, beginning August 3, 2026, and concluding May 28, 2027. Positions are available at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, allowing you to match your experience and interests with the right age group.
