Granite/Quartz Templater Specialist
Nampa Floors and Interiors
Job Location: Nampa, Idaho
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Granite and Quartz Templater Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solid surface laser templating, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work closely with contractors, clients, fabricators and installers. This position involves measuring, creating templates, and ensuring accurate execution of template files.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Templater or in a similar role within the stone or countertop industry.
- Proficiency in using LT-2D3D laser templater and CAD software.
- Installation experience is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid drivers license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site measurements and assessments to create accurate templates for granite and quartz installations.
- Utilize specialized templating equipment and software to produce precise templates for stone surfaces.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors and project managers to understand design specifications and requirements.
- Analyze project blueprints and drawings to ensure compliance with design intent and customer expectations.
- Communicate any potential issues or discrepancies to coordinator or management in a timely manner.
- Ensure all templates are produced accurately and delivered to the fabrication team for processing.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, technology, and installation techniques to continually improve templating processes.
- Drive company vehicle to jobsites
