About the Position

Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: Contract Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required; first-time travelers accepted. License: State RN License required. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: - Telemetry experience required. - Ability to float as needed. - Experience in post-operative care for CABG, TAVR, General Surgery, Bariatric, and Thoracic patients. - Willingness to work every other weekend and holiday rotations as needed. Description: Telemetry Registered Nurse position available for day shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of Telemetry experience. First-time travelers will be considered. Floating to other areas may be required, including post-operative care. Assist with care for patients recovering from various surgical procedures including CABG and TAVR. The unit specializes in general surgery, bariatric, and thoracic care. Experience with managing and interpreting telemetry monitoring is essential. Candidates should be familiar with accessing and managing central lines, chest tubes, and IV administration. Knowledge of cardiac drips management and interpretation of dysrhythmias is necessary. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy and respiratory services is expected. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care is crucial. Willingness to adapt to the needs of the department and support other staff members is essential. Additional responsibilities may include wound care and coordination with pharmacy and social services.
