Job Description
Title
RRT - Respiratory Therapist

Schedule

Rotating weekends required

Requirements
- Washington license in hand required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Preferred certification: NRP
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Experience with ventilator management and weaning
- Proficiency in high-flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP, airway management, ABG interpretation, and aerosol/medication delivery
- Familiarity with neonatal/pediatric critical care preferred
- Experience with Draeger equipment preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Manage ventilators and assist in the weaning process.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) assessments and interpret results.
- Administer aerosol therapy and inhaled medications.
- Provide airway management, including trach care and suctioning.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Compliance / Notes
- Compliance documents due by Monday prior to start; last 4 SSN required.
- Must list requested time off (RTO) at time of submission; post-submission RTO may not be approved.
- Modules completed pre-start (average ~16 hours); >20 hours requires approval.
- Two references required covering one year within the last three years.
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius accepted at a lower rate.
- Return staff must wait 3 months before reapplying as a traveler.
