Registered Nurse (RN) Interventional Radiology

Nurse - Interventional RadiologyInova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for an experienced Nurse to join its dynamic Interventional Radiology team in a Full-time status. Schedule: 4x 9 hour shifts weekly M-F, 1 on-call weekday night shift every 2 weeks, 1 weekend every 5 weeks. Unit covers hours: 8am-5pm.Interventional Radiology Unit description: 6 pre/post procedural bays, 2 procedural rooms, this team handles approximately 14 procedures daily including but not limited to Biopsies (Liver, Bone, Bone Marrow), Never Ablation, Vascular Procedures, Drain and Line Placement, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, GI procedures. If RN has an Associate Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.BLS Healthcare Provider Certification issued by the AHA is required at start.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Preferred CVIR Qualifications:IR RN experience or 2+ years' experience in a critical care and/or procedural/peri-anesthesia area.About Us:We are Inova, Northern Virginia's leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
