Interventional Radiology Tech | Binghamton, New York

Step into a dynamic environment as a Neurointerventional Radiologic Technologist providing high-level patient care in Imaging - IR. This critical role focuses on both technical expertise and compassionate service, supporting a collaborative team to achieve excellent outcomes for a diverse group of patients and medical professionals.


Schedule:

• 4x10 hour shifts, 7:30am - 6:00pm
• On call every other weekend

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT(R) certification
• Valid NYS License
• BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience in both interventional radiology (IR) and neurointerventional procedures

Preferred Experience:

• Strong background in neurointerventional techniques
• Prior work with procedures such as intracranial and extracranial angiography, vertebroplasty, myelograms, embolizations, and clot retrievals

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive technical support for both IR and neurointerventional procedures, such as discograms, angiography, spinal and tumor embolizations, and ablations
• Operate advanced imaging equipment in adherence with established safety and imaging protocols
• Ensure strict compliance with radiation and safety standards
• Support and assist in the training of students and residents, performing preceptor duties when needed
• Conduct quality assurance checks and assist with inventory management for all IR procedures
• Utilize electronic information systems for procedure scheduling and accurate coding
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all hospital protocols, including incident reporting and patient care standards
