CenterBook Partners is a systematic hedge fund with $1.4 billion in assets under management. We sit at the intersection of fundamental, multi-manager, and systematic investing, partnering with established independent investment managers to fuel our strategies.

The Partner Services team owns contributor relationships end to end from recruiting, to onboarding, and maintaining relationships. The Operations Manager will oversee operational support for CenterBook’s programs and serve as the subject matter expert for all CenterBook’s contributor programs. This individual will be responsible for coordinating internally and externally to source and process data for evaluation, ensure all steps in the onboarding process are completed, and serve as the primary point of contact for investment managers contributing to CenterBook’s strategies.

This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the Director of Partner Services, with broad exposure to manager selection, compliance, systematic strategy design, and senior leadership. The ideal candidate combines deep hedge fund experience with the operational rigor required of a systematic strategy. Demonstrated success can lead to rapid absorption of new responsibilities and promotion.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding

• Oversee new relationship onboarding, coordinating across, sales, legal, finance, data, and research teams.

• Maintain onboarding procedures and frequently asked questions related to recruiting and onboarding procedures.

Systems of Record

• Maintain internal records on prospective and participating contributors to ensure proper progression through evaluation and onboarding.

• Update and refine our internal intelligence for human agentic retrieval to support automation efforts and executive status awareness.

Contributor Operations

• Serve as a point of contact for all contributor relationships to answer FAQs about CenterBook’s contributor programs.

• Oversee quarterly contributor reporting and payments.

• Support policy creation and documentation.

Qualifications

Required

• 2 to 5 years in operations, client service, business analytics, or project management in the investment management or financial services industries.

• Obsession with and instinct for process.

• Direct experience with external clients or investors.

• Project management. You have coordinated across teams and kept multi-party processes on schedule.

• Working ownership of a CRM or comparable system of record.

• Clear written and verbal communication.

• Fluency with Excel.

• Experience with AI harnesses (Claude Code, Codex, or comparable).

• Experience with python.

Preferred

• Direct hedge fund or alternatives experience.

• Administrator experience with Salesforce.

• Administrator experience with Jira.

• Fund administration or prime brokerage exposure.

• Fluency with AI harnesses (Claude Code, Codex, or comparable).

• Development experience.
