Quick Facts Location: Kingsport, TN (130 West Ravine Road, ZIP 37660) Start Date: 08/01/2026 Duration: Ongoing assignment Schedule: 7:00 AM Monday to 7:00 AM Monday (24-hour coverage) Shift: 24-hour shifts with night call Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours Employment Type: Travel/Locum Licensing/Certs: Tennessee License or IMLC required, ACLS/BLS, TN DEA Experience: Well-versed in all General GI and ERCP Procedures Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $4,290.00 per 24-hour shift Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical insurance (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with legal requirements Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (when applicable) What You’ll Do Provide specialized GI procedures, including ERCP, in a busy endoscopy suite Support OR and in-house endoscopy nurses during procedures Assist with rounding and patient care as needed Work closely with APPs and support staff in a dynamic environment Perform approximately 7-8 procedures daily, supporting adult patients Manage call coverage including nights and weekends, with minimal after-hours calls Utilize Olympus equipment and EPIC EMR documentation system Adapt scheduling for EUS procedures and flexible endoscopy slots What You Need Required: Board Certified in Gastroenterology Tennessee medical license or IMLC accepted ACLS & BLS certifications Experience with ERCP procedures and general GI cases DEA license for Tennessee Preferred: Experience with EPIC EMR Additional certifications (CSR) Ability to obtain privileges within 60-90 days About the Assignment This assignment involves providing GI specialty services in a leading facility in Kingsport, Tennessee. The facility features a well-equipped endoscopy unit with Olympus equipment, a supportive team, and a patient volume of approximately 5-6 procedures per day. The position offers blocked time in the endoscopy suite, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to work in a professional environment committed to both quality care and provider success.
