Staff Pharmacist | Cushing, Oklahoma

A 100-bed community hospital located approximately 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated pharmacist for nights with a schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off. This contract-to-hire opportunity emphasizes the need for a committed professional interested in a permanent position, although temporary or temp-to-hire candidates will also be considered to support current staffing needs.


Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, managing pharmacokinetics, and providing consultation to physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient care. The position utilizes the Meditech IT system, so familiarity with this or similar hospital pharmacy software is beneficial.


Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Oklahoma pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts effectively
• Strong communication and supervisory skills
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar medication management systems
