Oncology Sales Representative - North Carolina East

Key Responsibilities This is a field‑based sales position responsible for the North Carolina East territory. Major workload centers include Columbia, SC; Fayetteville, NC; Myrtle Beach, SC; and Wilmington, NC. Candidates must reside within the territory. Travel varies based on candidate's location within or near the territory and may require up to 25% overnight travel per month, including national sales meetings. Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and meet with key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business model, and key influencers, building relationships and trust to uncover and comprehend their needs. Use appropriate resources to create a compelling and logical rationale for the value of our Oncology products during informed discussions with customers, comparing and positioning our brand(s) versus competitor products. Possess knowledge of cancer staging, possible treatment options, and dosing schedules associated with different tumors/diseases, recognizing the impact of those options on patients. Understand the significance and use of clinical trials in multiple tumor types/therapies and how they influence promoted products and practice behavior. Analyze and identify trends within a complex buying environment, including multiple channels of drug distribution (Oncology group purchasing organizations, wholesalers, and specialty pharmacies). Review and evaluate patterns for products purchased and prescribed, such as outpatient vs. inpatient infusion. Comprehend complex account interdependencies to proactively develop and execute short‑ and long‑term account plans in collaboration with the account team and supervisor. Share learnings and best practices among customers to help others meet their needs. Influence beyond your specific territory by asking strategic, insightful questions to obtain information about customer needs, position our Oncology products/indications accordingly, and collaborate on a customized strategy. Ensure a consistent customer experience across the Division and functional areas, sharing key learnings to support customer needs by effectively communicating and collaborating with the customer team. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of sales experience, or high school diploma (or equivalent) with at least 10 years of equivalent experience. Equivalent experience may include professional sales experience, work experience in the healthcare or scientific field (including pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices) that is not sales related, professional marketing experience, or military experience. 0–2 years of field‑based experience. Valid driver's license and ability to drive a vehicle. Ability to travel as required by the role. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Experience and Skills 2+ years of field‑based experience, selling an oncology therapeutic to oncology customers. Documented history of strong performance in a sales/marketing or oncology clinical role. Clinical oncology experience across multiple solid tumors. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $142,400.00 – $224,100.00. The successful candidate will be eligible for an annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
