Endoscopy Technicians (Therapeutic) are responsible for:
- Assisting Endoscoptist with procedures including advanced therapeutic procedures.
- Overseeing set up, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced endoscopic equipment.
- Aiding in the collection and preparation of specimens.
The Endoscopy Technician (Therapeutic) functions as a technical expert assisting in the performance of both standard and advanced endoscopic procedures. Qualifications for this position include:
- High School Diploma
- Completion of SGNA Associates Program preferred
- Two (2) years experience in an Endoscopy setting
- CPR certification
