OTR Flatbed Company driver (W-2) Job in Alabaster, AL by HMD Trucking

Requirements - 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- 6 months of flatbed experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits

- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Vacancy description
Operate HMD Trucking’s modern flatbed fleet from Alabaster, AL, hauling freight nationwide with top-tier support.
Responsibilities:
- Drive flatbeds with sleeper cabs, APUs, inverters, and rider seats
- Secure and tarp loads, ensuring driver and load safety
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections
Perks & Pay:
- $0.70/mile base and $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- $5,000 sign-on bonus and paid tarping
- Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k), plus regular home time
Class A CDL and at least 12 months of OTR flatbed work required.
