Pediatric Physical Therapist $25,000 Bonus

Job Description This pediatric position is responsible for screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with standard physical therapy practices. The Physical Therapist consults, educates, and trains patients and their caregivers working in a pediatric population. Posting Specifics Schedule: Hiring for full-time, part-time, and PRN hours. Flexible shifts. PRN: As needed. Scope of Practice Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition. Develops treatment plans describing strategies, purposes, and expected outcomes, often including exercise regimens at the clinic and at home to increase flexibility, strength, or endurance. May use various modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs. Helps to restore physical function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent permanent disability. Determines patient ability to be independent and reintegrate into the workplace or community after injury or illness. Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abides by service behavior standards. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school is required. Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting) is required. Regular attendance on site during scheduled business hours or shifts is required. Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills. Highly organized and analytical. Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism. A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements: Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Walking. Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Location and Compensation Holy Rosary Hospital, Miles City, Montana. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. Hourly rate: $42.66 - $65.82 (actual rate dependent upon experience).
