This all starts with our greatest asset…our employees.What You Will Be Doing:As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for all operations and activities of Yancey Engineered Solutions, including production, engineering, quality and sales, and all ancillary functions.Primary Responsibilities:Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions, including hiring and performance management.Ensures divisional alignment with overall Company strategy and initiatives.Leads development of annual and longer-term business plans.Leads team to develop culture of continuous improvement focused on implementing new methods and processes to deliver improvement in all manufacturing processes.Leads team to ensure superior customer experience.Develop team to meet business needsOversee operations to ensure safetySet performance goals and expectationsEnsures smooth day-to-day operations of the facilityAdditional Responsibilities:Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.Who We Are Looking For:To be successful in this position you should have prior leadership experience and a deep understanding of the EPG packaging design business. This position also requires someone who has strong accountability and initiative. In addition, working in a team environment is essential to this position.Education/Experience:High School Diploma or related equivalent required.Bachelor's Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience required. Degree in engineering/business/logistics preferred.10+ years of experience leading high performing teams in manufacturing organizations.Required Qualifications/Skills:Leadership development, TMR (Succession Planning), coaching and corrective action.Team member engagement and employee moraleDemonstrated success optimizing manufacturing and work processes and methods, with a focus on continuous improvement.Effective communication skills.Ability to hold teams accountable to meeting commitments and objectives and adhering to policies and procedures.Managing complex, voluminous and sometimes contradictory information to find strong solutions.Anticipates and balances the needs of multiple stakeholders up to and including C Suite; is able to prioritize the interests of those stakeholders.Ability to help develop strategic direction for organization, communicate it effectively to key stakeholders, and implement change needed to achieve the vision.Builds strong teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.Values:At Yancey Bros.
