Pay: depends on experience $45K+

Schedule: Mon-Fri 1st Shift

Location: Ocala, FL 34474

The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating production schedules to ensure customer orders are completed on time, production goals are achieved, and operations remain within budget. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role works closely with production teams, management, sales, and HR to maximize efficiency and maintain workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and workspace readiness to support efficient production operations.
• Monitor incoming orders, inventory, supply chain challenges, and market conditions to identify potential production constraints.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, sales, and management teams to resolve scheduling, material, and capacity issues.
• Communicate production status and potential delays through the sales team to ensure customers remain informed.
• Analyze workforce requirements and partner with HR to align staffing levels with production demands.
• Track production performance and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and meet company objectives.
• Ensure production plans support on-time delivery, quality standards, and budget goals.

Qualifications:

• Experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with production planning, ERP, or inventory management systems preferred.
