Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrical
Pay: $25–$30/hour DOE
Schedule: Day Shift
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical knowledge to support a heavy industrial manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to help ensure safe and reliable plant operations.

The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded industrial maintenance background with particularly strong experience in electrical troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on industrial production equipment.

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.

• Troubleshoot electrical components, motors, controls, PLCs, and drives.

• Perform maintenance and repairs involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Diagnose equipment failures and determine appropriate corrective action.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, drawings, and maintenance documentation.

• Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC and other manufacturing equipment.

• Inspect equipment and identify potential problems before they result in downtime.

• Participate in planned maintenance activities, including preparing necessary tools and replacement parts.

• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders as required.

• Follow established plant safety procedures and proper lockout/tagout practices.

• Work closely with production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime.

• Perform additional industrial and facility maintenance duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.

• Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills required.

• Experience troubleshooting motors, electrical controls, PLCs, and drives preferred.

• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform repairs with minimal assistance.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.

• CNC equipment maintenance experience is a plus.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.

• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other maintenance equipment.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or industrial maintenance training is a plus.

• Must be safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work effectively in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Compensation

$25–$30/hour, depending on experience
