Groomers are paid an hourly wage, or a 50% commission, whichever is greater.

Do you love the smell and feel of a freshly washed and conditioned coat? Do you like to help your pet and other pets look and feel their best? Is nail trimming no big deal? If this is you, you will love working in our neighborhood. We are looking for a certified and experienced groomer to join our pack.

As a Pet Supplies Plus groomer, you will:

· Provide exceptional grooming services—such as brushing, bathing, trimming, and conditioning—that delight both pets and their owners

· Style pets according to owner preferences or breed-specific standards

· Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all neighbors' pets

· Build lasting relationships with pet parents by understanding their needs and recommending tailored products and services

· Participate in community outreach efforts to attract and welcome new customers to the store

· Perform regular cleaning tasks to ensure a clean, welcoming grooming space

· Support store team members with additional tasks during grooming downtime

· Successfully complete Safety, Bather/Brusher, and Grooming Academy certification programs, if not already certified

A PAWsome Groomer must:

· Be at least eighteen years of age

· Have a high school diploma or GED

· Have 1 year or more of grooming experience with formal training certification and/or experience under an established certified groomer

· Have the ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds

· Be able to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time

~Pay is dependent upon you and your clientele. We offer commission or hourly, whichever is higher for you based on your daily sales.

· Candidates must be flexible in working evenings, weekends and holidays. All candidates must pass the drug, background and validated selection test.
