About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale Description: This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse in a Medical Surgical setting. The role requires no call. Candidates must possess BLS certification and NIH Stroke Scale proficiency. Assessment skills in Med Surg are necessary, along with general Med Surg skills. The unit features 40 beds with a patient ratio of 5-6:1 during the day and 6:1 at night. Staff structure includes 1 charge nurse, 8 Registered Nurses, and 4 Patient Care Technicians for day shift shifts, and 1 charge nurse, 7 Registered Nurses, and 4 Patient Care Technicians for night shifts. Experience with EMR systems is preferred. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for this role. We seek team players with a positive attitude.
