As a Fishing Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the appropriate fishing gear, equipment, and accessories tailored to their specific needs. This includes providing expert advice on fishing techniques, product features, and usage, while ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a thorough understanding of our product inventory, encompassing fishing rods, reels, bait, tackle, apparel, and accessories. Additionally, you help maintain store cleanliness by organizing displays, restocking shelves, and ensuring products are attractively merchandised. Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers of all experience levels is a must. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. You will collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets, participate in promotional events, and contribute to the store's overall success. In addition to the sales responsibilities, you will assist in receiving shipments, verifying inventory accuracy, and performing regular inventory counts. Previous retail sales experience in a fishing or outdoor equipment atmosphere is preferred, however, candidates with a strong willingness to learn will also be considered. Benefits include:

Compensation: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
