Sr Loan Specialist

Job Description

• Process complex loan servicing and liquidation actions through risk analysis and historical data evaluation
• Conduct financial analysis on distressed loans and determine best course of action to maximize recovery
• Perform portfolio analysis to determine compliance with organizational procedures, applicable laws, and regulations
• Coordinate and track multiple projects involving loan collateral disposition
• Prepare and present reports to management
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Additional Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
• 7+ years of experience in loan servicing, loan processing or financial operations
• Advanced degree (MBA, Finance, or related) and/or professional certifications
• Knowledge of principles, practices and functions related to capital access for American small businesses
• Knowledge of capital access programs supporting small businesses
• Experience developing policies, procedures, and operational frameworks
• Knowledge in supporting budgeting and capital planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Demonstrated initiative in improving business processes and program operations

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL.

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $36.00/hr.
