Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience and prior travel contract experience for assignments across multiple Iowa and Illinois facilities.

• Positions available across multiple facilities, including Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 trauma centers
• EMR: Epic (experience required)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound/sonography experience required
• At least 1 prior travel contract required — first-time travelers will not be considered
• ARDMS certification required
• Iowa state license required; compact license accepted
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment or contract required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the assigned facility to qualify for travel pay rates; local candidates may be considered at some locations
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday blackout periods, regardless of holidays worked
• Candidates who have been employed by the facility within the past 12 months are not eligible for consideration
