CVICU Registered Nurse

Position Details

• Specialty: CVICU Registered Nurse
• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts
• Day Shift: 0645–1915
• Night Shift: 1845–0715
• Call: Required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience
• Distance Requirement: Candidate must live at least 100 miles away from the facility

Required Clinical Experience

Candidates must have CVICU experience that includes:

• POD 0 Open Heart Surgery experience — REQUIRED
• IABP experience — REQUIRED
• Impella experience — REQUIRED

Do not submit candidates unless POD 0 Open Hearts, IABP, and Impella experience are clearly listed on the resume.

Required Certifications & Credentials

• NIHSS — Required
• BLS — Required
• ACLS — Required
• Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the applicable state/district — Required

Experience Requirement

• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience — Required
• Strong experience caring for post-operative cardiovascular/cardiothoracic patients
• Demonstrated experience managing patients with advanced cardiac support devices, including IABP and Impella
• Experience caring for POD 0 Open Heart Surgery patients is mandatory

Nights: 3 × 12s, 1845–0715
Call: Required
