Messaging Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Messaging Administrator to manage and optimize our enterprise messaging platforms. This role involves diagnosing and resolving production issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to the reliability, performance, and scalability of our messaging systems. Primary Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production messaging issues across Linux and Windows environments. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotating support schedule for production systems. Manage incident triage, vendor escalations, root cause analysis, and problem management activities. Lead or support the development of internal tools, automation, monitoring enhancements, and operational runbook documentation. Contribute to platform optimization and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring operational excellence. Required Technical Skills & Experience Hands-on experience designing, building, and administering messaging platforms, including: IBM MQ (primary) IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Confluent Kafka TIBCO Rendezvous (RV) and TIBCO EMS Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across distributed systems. Experience supporting production environments in a 24x7 on-call rotation. Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems in enterprise environments. Desired / Preferred Skills Familiarity with middleware tools and supporting technologies, such as meshiQ, Navigator, Atrium Orchestrator, Dynatrace, and Splunk. Experience with JIRA for incident and change management. Scripting or programming skills (Python, Shell) to support automation and operational tasks. Strong understanding of monitoring strategies, operational metrics, and performance tuning. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
