License: Permanent Ohio license required

Certifications: Active certifications with nothing pending

Must-Have: One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission.

Description: Five 8-hour shifts from 08:30 AM to 05:30 PM every other weekend. On-call availability is required if staying in the area to assist with any holidays. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Travelers will receive a maximum of two attempts to pass the assessments. Background checks will be reviewed. Travelers with open cases will not be accepted. While there is an exemption for nurses and CSTs from nicotine-free requirements, all other travelers must be nicotine-free. A negative drug screen is required within 12 months of the start date. Candidates will need to pick up their badge and complete fingerprints prior to their start date. Extensions with the client may be available for a period of 18 months, followed by a 6-month break. Travel candidates who do not complete the annual competency requirement will be removed from the schedule until completed. Modules required are billable, with a maximum of 4 hours. Additional time required for pre-start modules is non-billable. Modules are recorded for compliance purposes.
