Job Title: Line Cook
Department/Location: BOH/Blue Ash Supervisor: General Manager/ Operations Manager/Assistant Managers Compensation: Hourly Wage Company: Envision Cinemas is a multi-screen dine in movie theater with mini bowling, restaurant, and private event space. Envision brings back the glory of cinema’s past with a modern twist. From our full bar & grille to the push-button service in our modern recliners. Job Description: Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies. Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. We work as a Team at Envision and your job tasks may include washing dishes, and general cleaning projects. Job Purpose: To support the preparation of our menu items, contributing to our mission to provide an excellent guest experience. Job Qualifications:● Ability to follow directions pertaining to food safety, chemical safety, and daily maintenance of equipment
● Ability to read and follow a recipe
● Reliable transportation to and from work
● Works days, nights, holidays and/or weekends as required
● Ability to work in a team environment
● Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
● Must have problem solving abilities, and time-management skills
● Commitment to accurately and quickly prepare and deliver items to guests
● Coachability
● Pleasant and friendly demeanor through entire shift
● Commitment to cleanliness of our facility: willingness to assist in cleaning of restrooms, auditoriums, and other areas as directed
● Confident, Great Attitude, High Energy and Drive
● Supports the management team and company goals/visions Job Tasks:
● Adhere to company standards of cleanliness in all areas of our facility
● Prepare ingredients for our menu items
● Read and prepare menu items by recipe, honoring any guest modifications
● Ensure proper use of chemicals while cleaning, and proper use of any equipment
● Ensure kitchen operations are running smoothly by completing all “Jolt” checklists in a timely manner
● Pro-active in getting things done and exceeding expectations of both guests and team members
● Observe and follow sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of cinema
● Stocking and putting away items in concessions and in restrooms
● Showing flexibility and willingness to perform tasks outside of an assigned position
● Complete training and attend classes as directed
● Taking out trash as necessary
● Comply to all manager requests for any cleaning tasks or other duties Physical Requirements
● Ability to speak and hear
● Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
● Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 45lbs. Benefits/Perks
