Direct Support Professional (DSP) Part Time – Easton, MA, US Requisition ID: 1170. Salary: $20.00–$22.00 hourly. Schedule: Thursday & Friday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Saturday 4:00 PM–10:00 PM, Sunday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Sign‑on Bonus: $1,000.00 pro‑rated. Halcyon Residential invites compassionate team players to provide person‑centered care for adults with autism and developmental disabilities in a supportive group‑home environment. Responsibilities Provide supervision and support to four residents in the group home. Deliver hands‑on, individualized care including assistance with toileting, showering, dressing, and personal hygiene. Support job coaching, role modeling, and daily living activities. Maintain clean, safe, and organized living spaces. Respond to client behaviors and implement behavioral intervention strategies, including physical restraint, lifting, and transport in the company van when necessary. Document care plans, incidents, and medication administration accurately. Participate in team meetings with the Residential Manager and other staff to review resident progress. Accept additional shifts as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals who have autism or developmental disabilities; 3+ years preferred. High school diploma required. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Clear vision and hearing, with ability to write legible documentation. Basic computer skills. Professional, respectful communication with clients and families. Capacity to intervene with behavioral challenges, including restraint and transportation. Physical ability to sit, stand, lift up to 50 lb, walk, bend, and reach regularly. Valid driver’s license of at least 3 years and insured vehicle. First Aid/CPR certification (training provided if needed). MAP medication‑administration certification (training provided if needed). Safety Care certification (training provided if needed).
