Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician – Duro-Last Roofing (Saginaw, Michigan) Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has an opening for a Maintenance Technician at its facility in Saginaw, Michigan. This full‑time position reports to the Maintenance/Facilities Manager, Stephen Mitchell. Ideal candidates have industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience and are mechanically inclined with initiative to work both independently and as part of a team. What You’ll Accomplish Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment. Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned. Troubleshoot and repair machinery. Maintain facility and associated equipment. Work with maintenance vendors. Keep work area clean and orderly. Complete and submit company purchase requisitions. Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning. Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards. What We Are Looking For 3‑5 years of industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience. Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals. Experience with industrial controls. Mechanically inclined and able to perform physical labor, lift, and operate machinery. Ability to read blueprints and experience with fabrication. Excellent safety and attendance record. Willingness to work overtime when required. Self‑motivated and able to multi‑task. High attention to detail and exceptionally organized. Initiative and ability to work in a team and individually.
