Summary
Seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Supervisor to oversee daily sterile processing operations, staff workflow, sterilization procedures, and compliance standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Job Description
- Supervise daily sterile processing department operations
- Oversee decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of instruments
- Ensure compliance with infection control and regulatory standards
- Perform and validate sterilization quality control testing
- Train and support sterile processing staff
- Monitor workflow, productivity, and equipment management
- Collaborate with surgical and hospital departments
Requirements
Education & Certification
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CRCST certification required or equivalent
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of sterile processing experience
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience required
Skills
- Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control
- Experience with automated sterilization systems
- Leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Pay & Benefits
- $20.00 – $28/hour based on experience
- Full-time day shift
- No weekends
- Relocation assistance up to $5,000 with approval
