McDonald’s Franchise Opportunity This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant. Requirements: The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager works with his/her leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve those goals. To meet restaurant goals, the General Manager leads a team of Department Managers who have specific responsibilities. The General Manager helps Department Managers set and track their own goals, provides coaching and direction, and improves departmental performance to benefit the restaurant overall. The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure a capable future leadership team. Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience at high-volume locations. A background in quick-service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. Candidates must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
