Job Opportunity: Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician

Our organization is currently looking for a full-time, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to join our outpatient clinic located in Fairview, Oregon. This role is integrated within the Portland VA Medical Center, which offers a comprehensive network of care facilities and outpatient clinics across Oregon. As a primary care provider, you will function as an independent and highly skilled practitioner, managing patient care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team that utilizes cutting-edge medical technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to a panel of approximately 900 patients as part of the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model.
• Diagnose and treat both acute and chronic health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart failure, and chronic pain.
• Work collaboratively with a team that includes a Primary Care Provider (PCP), Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and a Medical Support Assistant.
• Engage in leadership and administrative duties, promoting staff education and development initiatives.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Possess a current, full, and unrestricted medical or surgical license to practice in the United States.
• Board Certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine is required.

Working Conditions

This position operates on a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with minimal on-call responsibilities for abnormal lab results. There are no weekend or holiday shifts required.
