Warehouse Team Lead

Warehouse Operations Team LeadThe Warehouse Operations Team Lead will work along with upper management to implement company initiatives in the Bristol warehouse; the main warehouse facility for the organization. The Team Lead will learn to perform all daily warehouse tasks such as order fulfillment processing, vendor receiving processing, quality inspections, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, using a computer terminal. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Reports to the Warehouse Manager.Responsibilities:Oversee activities related to inbound shipments including checking in, receiving, and stocking as well as outbound activities including scheduling logistics and shipmentsShift personnel between separate warehouse functional areas to ensure each part of the process is sufficiently staffedCreate and implement operational procedures with the assistance of the leadership team to ensure work is completed in an efficient mannerContinually improve and build upon existing processes by identifying areas of improvement, designing solutions with measurable impacts in mind, and executing improvementsBuild and maintain a positive work culture by instilling a team-oriented sense of camaraderiePoint person for questions/issues as they arriveComplete quality paperwork when non-conformances arise, work with the quality department on preventative resolutionsTrain new employees and cross-train existing employeesAssist in daily warehouse tasks to maintain workloadDrive compliance with safety and productivity goalsOther duties as assignedRequirements:High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED)Experience in warehouse associate roleSupervisory experience is preferred but not requiredOnsite training is required to perform job duties that involve operating a fork truck and/or using tools, machinery, or equipmentBenefits:Medical/Dental/Vision/Disability effective first of the month after the hire datePTO accrual begins upon hireReferral bonuses100% employee-owned plus 401k with company match
