Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Weekends as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed Labor & Delivery unit following AWHONN staffing standards
• Monitor and assess laboring patients using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques
• Care for gynecological patients in addition to labor and delivery patients
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner EHR
• Assist with C-section cases as required by unit needs
• Float as helping hands to support the unit as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (or higher)
• Proficiency with Cerner EHR
• Must be able to start within 7–10 days of offer; available start dates are structured and predetermined

Preferred Experience / Skills

• LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) experience strongly preferred
• Experience caring for GYN patient populations in addition to L&D
• Easygoing, committed, and positive professional demeanor
