Registered Nurse - Preoperative CareThis is a 13-week contract position, offering flexibility with 3 12-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts per week. Occasional midnight shifts may be required to support operational demands. Participation in the weekend rotation and on-call schedule is required, including one weekend scheduled shift and one secondary call day per scheduling period.The Registered Nurse will work in a preoperative area, providing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preparing patients for surgery, monitoring their health status, and providing post-operative care as needed. The role requires scrubbing for procedures and knowledge of surgical care, including robotics and IV skills.Provide preoperative care and support to patients.Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes.Administer medications and manage IV therapy as needed.Scrub in for surgical procedures as required.Participate in the on-call and weekend rotation, ensuring adequate coverage.BLS Certification is required.IV skills and knowledge of surgical care.Experience working in a preoperative or surgical setting preferred.Current RN license is mandatory for submission.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
