Job Summary

Adecco is currently hiring Warehouse Associates for a growing warehouse and distribution operation in Reno, Nevada. This position is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties including receiving, stock keeping, order picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Successful candidates will be dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting while handling materials and supporting daily operational needs.

Warehouse Associates play a key role in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, and shipped to customers. This position may also support counter sales activities, quality assurance processes, and warehouse maintenance duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming shipments.

• Verify received products and accurately enter receipts into the company computer system.

• Perform quality assurance inspections when required.

• Store received materials in proper warehouse locations and assist with inventory organization.

• Pull, pack, weigh, and label customer orders for shipment.

• Prepare shipping documentation, bills of lading, and express receipts.

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.

• Maintain delivery records and complete shipping paperwork accurately.

• Process returns and inspect returned materials for condition and compliance.

• Return inventory to appropriate stock locations as needed.

• Maintain warehouse, workstations, parking areas, and storage locations in a clean and organized condition.

• Assemble and disassemble warehouse shelving, bins, racks, and storage equipment as needed.

• Assist with preventive maintenance activities for warehouse equipment and material handling equipment.

• Record and communicate customer product or service concerns to management.

• Restock inventory at warehouse counters and assist with over-the-counter sales when needed.

• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Basic computer skills required.

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.

• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) is preferred.

Physical Requirements

This position requires continuous standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday. Candidates must be able to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role may require the use of hand tools and warehouse equipment.

Work Environment

Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment. Employees may be exposed to varying temperatures and weather conditions when loading or unloading materials. The warehouse is generally well-lit and ventilated, and strict safety procedures must be followed at all times. Employees may be required to work around warehouse equipment, forklifts, and other material handling machinery.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
