Radiation TherapistMLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Radiation Therapist to join a talented team at a respected acute-care hospital in Texas. In this position, you will provide professional radiation therapy, following clinical protocols to administer radiation treatments for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in patient care.Salary: $58,000 - $93,000 per yearRadiation Therapist Duties:Personalized Radiation Delivery: Work with the oncology team to administer customized radiation therapies, ensuring optimal care for each patient.Position Type: Full-time, permanent role with direct hire.Hours: Day shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday (5x8 schedule).Patient Guidance: Educate patients on the treatment process, addressing their questions and providing reassurance and clarity.Treatment Execution: Deliver radiation therapy as specified in individualized treatment plans, following protocols with accuracy and care.Requirements:ARRT Registration: Must hold active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).State Licensure: Possess a Texas Medical Board - Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license.BLS Certification: A current Basic Life Support certification is required.Radiologic Technologist Credentials: Valid licensure to practice radiologic technology in Texas.Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of linear accelerators, CT scanning equipment, and computer systems.
