The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skillsWhat You Will Do:Own and be responsible for the customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and Quest business metrics for a diverse team of 7-12 individuals at customer siteControl and influence the culture of your team by leading by example with our company Core Values and displaying a "Founder's Mentality"Actively own, track, and drive accurate workload forecasting and project resource assignments to ensure optimum efficiency of the teamEnsure employee deliverable completion, while adhering to project schedule and quality requirementsBuild relationships with internal Quest departments, as well as external customersLeverage your ability to generate and maintain the confidence of current and new customersBuild the capability of your team through a formalized and tracked training plan for each team memberAssist with interviewing and onboarding of new team membersConstruct and own a team succession plan and business continuity plan for sustainable successSet yearly goals for team members and hold quarterly performance reviews on progressFacilitate training for team knowledge gap closuresGenerate and facilitate employee engagement initiatives for your teamHost recurring meetings with team members to flow down information and drive goal completionActively seek out new work opportunities to enable team growthSupport larger business initiatives and delivery growth strategiesEnsure compliance to Quest policies and procedures for your teamExecute part time on a statement of work (SOW)Work with the other leadership team to look for opportunities for improvement across the programHave an understanding of the health status and associated risks of all projects worked by your teamEscalate issues as neededSupport delivery of customer work and owning all aspects of project successWhat You Will Bring:3+ years of exposure with leading, mentoring, coaching, supervising2+ years of experience in a manufacturing related competencyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office softwareA demonstrated ability to form and maintain strong customerRobust and refined organizational and time management skills to ensure project success across multiple customers and Statements of WorkStrong business acumen, including managing financials, assessing risks, and being flexible to adapt to inevitable project changesA willingness and desire to learn and focus on continued personal career growthA process oriented mindset with a desire to improve the way we do thingsA familiarity with the aerospace industrySolid understanding of various manufacturing operations and process engineering related tasksProficient in blueprint readingStrong understanding of machining, welding & assembly processesWork Requirements:This role is considered an on-site position located in Rome, NY. You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
