DescriptionKforce's client, a growing manufacturing organization located in the Montana, is seeking a Controller to support cost accounting, financial analysis, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close activities. This highly visible role partners with operations and site leadership to provide financial insights that drive business performance and strategic decision-making. This full time position offers salary and benefits, work/life balance, collaborative, team-oriented environment with growth potential.Key Responsibilities:* Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes* Perform manufacturing variance analysis and cost center reviews* Maintain standard costing and inventory accounting processes* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities* Analyze inventory, overhead costs, and operational performance metrics* Prepare financial reports and provide actionable insights to leadership* Review purchase orders and assign general ledger coding* Partner with Operations, Materials, and Accounts Payable teams to resolve variances and discrepancies* Assist with fixed asset audits and inventory controlsRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance* Manufacturing cost accounting experience required* Strong background in standard costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis* Experience supporting operational leaders with financial decision-making* SAP or similar ERP experience preferred* Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and data analysis* Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsJob TypeDirect HireCompensation110000 - $125000
