You will perform schedule development duties, monitoring, reporting, and analysis and assist with schedule recovery plans. Your work will enable Bechtel to optimize the scheduling details for critical activities to best achieve project deadlines and objectives. #LI-SM2Major Responsibilities:Assists in the preparation of schedule data for proposals or contractsEstablishes and maintains the schedule for a specific discipline area or specialtyPerforms schedule development duties to include establishing the work breakdown structure (WBS), determining the work activity duration, establishing the proper workflow logic ties, and developing the required job expenditurePerforms schedule monitoring, including identifying critical activities and updating functions for specific applications, disciplines, or specialtiesAssists with maintenance of critical path schedule reports and schedule performance metricsPerforms schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine criticality of schedule activitiesAssists with schedule recovery plansEducation and Experience Requirements:Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experienceRequired Knowledge and Skills:Expert communication skills which include technical writing used to manage contracts and change management Expert level problem-solving skills including assessing impacts to overall project costs Field experience required including working on large-scale engineering and construction contractsExperience supporting or leading the development of claimsExpert level at Primavera P6 Expert level skills with Power BI used to create dashboardsTotal Rewards/Benefits:For decades, Bechtel has worked to inspire the next generation of employees and beyond!
