Manage antepartum and inpatient obstetric care for both unassigned and private patients. Collaborate with community providers for backup in emergency situations. Respond to emergent gynecological needs and support labor and delivery processes. Participate in the pseudo laborist program as part of a dedicated hospital team. Support residency program rotations in Family Medicine (if applicable). Ensure patient safety and quality care during deliveries and obstetric emergencies. Document clinical activities accurately and timely. What You Need Required: Valid California Medical License Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology At least 2 years of obstetric practice experience Strong clinical skills in labor, delivery, and gynecologic emergencies Preferred: Experience in Level III NICU settings Comfortable working within hospital residency programs About the Assignment This locum position is based in a prominent hospital in Visalia, California, renowned for its high-volume delivery service and dedicated OB team.
