Physical Therapist - Outpatient Ortho

Location Orangeburg, SC

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule 8-hour day shift, 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week.

Job Description We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic clinic. This position involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. The therapist will be responsible for managing a patient load of 12-14 patients per day, with an expectation of 60 visits per week. Double-booking for follow-up visits is anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions as per established protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and professional standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of South Carolina.
• Outpatient experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to float to other clinics as needed.
