Warehouse CoordinatorThe Warehouse Coordinator plays a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and timely shipping and receiving. This position serves as a key liaison between warehouse staff, logistics teams, vendors, and internal departments to maintain smooth workflow and compliance with safety and quality standards.Schedule inbound and outbound shipments and deliveriesCoordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and shipping of goodsMaintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle countsEnsure timely and accurate order picking, packing, and dispatchingCommunicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teamsAssist in resolving logistical and operational issuesSupport supervisors and managers with documentation, reporting, and compliance tasksUse Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software for trackingSupervise warehouse staff and provide training on safety procedures and operational protocolsImplement and enforce warehouse safety and Good Warehousing Practices (GWP)Prepare reports on inventory levels, shipments, and warehouse performanceCollaborate with other departments to improve efficiency and accuracyFollow Food Safety and Security Standards; report any food safety or quality issues immediatelyPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in logistics or supply chain preferred2+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics coordinationBilingual proficiency (Spanish and English), preferredWalk and inspect designated areas in cold storage or outdoor environments.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entryExcellent communication and coordination skillsFamiliarity with logistics software and WMS platformsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift and move heavy items and operate warehouse equipmentOccasional overtime or weekend work depending on operational needsMIMCO/Balford is an Equal Opportunity employer M/F/Veteran/Disability.
