Job TitleThis role is responsible for assisting members and potential members with their financial needs, selling services and recommending new products to improve our members' financial well-being.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesSell credit union services and make qualified referrals while building superior account relationshipsReceives and processes member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; sells money orders to members' transfers amounts from member accounts as directedAccurately process member transactionsMaintains accurate member account information on computer system and prepares required reports for managementAbility to work in a team environment as well as independentlyExhibits a positive attitude toward Credit Union initiatives and mission statement, supporting member acquisition and retention.Ability to use office technology such as a computer, internet, email, and other office related softwareAbility to work in an office environment for at least 8 hours per dayPerforms other job-related duties as assignedPerformance MeasurementsAccurately process member transactionsActively cross-sell products and services to members to achieve or exceed all established individual and branch sales goalsPossess thorough knowledge of credit union products and ensure compliance with credit union's policies, procedures, bylaws, and appropriate regulationsKnowledge & SkillsExperience One year to three years of similar or related experience.Education A high school education or GED.Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
