Sr. Cloud Engineer II (6866)

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud production environments.
• Automate deployments and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-performing systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to troubleshoot issues and implement best practices.
• Review architecture and drive initiatives that improve cloud capabilities and operational excellence.
• Mentor team members and continuously improve infrastructure performance and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• At least 7 years of experience building and supporting AWS Cloud and DevSecOps environments, including EKS, EC2, and Lambda.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Strong experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Harness, CloudBees, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
• Experience integrating security into DevOps, including secure-by-design principles, zero-trust architecture, vulnerability scanning, and automated security testing.
• Familiarity with SonarQube, Nexus IQ, Checkmarx, or Prisma Cloud.
• Experience with CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, and data streaming technologies such as AWS Kinesis.
• Proficiency with Linux and scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience working in Agile environments with strong collaboration and communication skills.
