The opportunity As a Community Associate, you’ll work closely with new and existing customers across a variety of industries. You’ll create and maintain your own community within your center and take care of all administrative and support needs so customers can focus on running their business. A typical day at IWG You arrive a few minutes before your center opens to ensure everything is ready and that cleaners have missed nothing. Customers arrive throughout the morning—one asks for a changed Wi‑Fi code, another wants to know if a package has arrived, a woman needs directions to her meeting room, or help setting up a projector and finding a coffee. You manage these requests and help connect calls, ensuring services are properly charged and invoices accurate. It’s time for a quick coffee break. You relax for a few minutes. The mail arrives; you sort it while handling additional customer requests and email a customer to let them know their package is waiting. In the afternoon, you help a customer with printing and another with their invoice. A team room user reports the room is too hot; you open a ticket in our service portal. Another quick coffee break. You relax for a few minutes. Early afternoon, you sit with the Community Manager to discuss next week’s networking event. You write e‑invites, create and post posters, and share information with prospective customers to encourage them to join the network. The day ends with organizing a meeting room group, guiding them to a nearby restaurant for a bite, and ensuring everything is tidy before heading home.
