Behavior Intervention Specialist - 26/27 SY

Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) / Instructional Support Specialist provides support for students in a variety of classroom environments including General Education, Self‑Contained, Resource, and Preschool classrooms as assigned by the ESS Behavior Intervention Teacher Specialists (BITS). The BIS provides positive behavioral interventions and support, collects behavioral data, offers close supervision of students, and serves as a support staff leader on the team, collaborating and offering recommendations for student success. Associate Degree or 60 higher education credit hours, or a qualifying score on a state‑recognized paraprofessional exam. Valid IVP Level One Arizona fingerprint clearance card.
