Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students across two school sites as a dedicated Social Worker in the Denver area. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to engage with students from Early Childhood Education through High School, supporting their mental health, academic success, and overall well-being. Assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis across two unique pairs of schools, ensuring diverse experiences and impactful connections.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Colorado Special Service Provider license for School Social Work, covering ages birth through 21
• Minimum of three years’ experience working in schools with varied student populations
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with families, faculty, and community agencies
• Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct mental health services to students, helping them overcome personal and academic challenges
• Support students dealing with issues affecting attendance, behavior, and social interactions
• Refer individuals to appropriate outside agencies for additional support
• Assess student needs and develop actionable plans to enable success within the school environment
• Communicate effectively with school staff and parents to capture a holistic view of each student’s situation
• Maintain and organize case files, tracking interventions and outcomes to identify trends
• Facilitate counseling sessions, workshops, and treatment plans for students in need
• Fulfill the complete school year commitment, providing continuous support for lasting student growth
