Senior Accountant

Harmer has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization looking to add a Senior Accountant to support one of their key operating sites. This role will partner directly with operations to drive performance and improve overall financial visibility. Opportunity Highlights: High visibility within both finance and operations leadership Opportunity to make a direct impact Strong runway for growth within a stable, expanding organization What You’ll Be Doing: Serve as the primary point of contact for all plant-level financial activity Lead close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Review financials for accuracy and ensure alignment with US GAAP and internal policies Partner with leadership on cost savings initiatives, budgeting, and forecasting Investigate and explain fluctuations in performance vs. plan and prior periods Analyze production, inventory, and cost trends, identifying opportunities for improvement Own financial reporting packages and communicate results to leadership Support capital spend tracking, including project analysis and ROI visibility Ensure accuracy across inventory, fixed assets, and operational accounting processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, procurement, and corporate accounting Drive process improvements and standardization efforts across the plant environment Assist with audit support and compliance requirements Maintain integrity of general ledger and supporting schedules What We Are Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field) ~5 years of full cycle accounting experience (or public accounting experience) Combination of public accounting and industry experience (highly preferred) CPA (highly preferred) Exposure to manufacturing, cost accounting, or plant environments is highly preferred Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset #J-18808-Ljbffr Harmer
